BMX Revolution

As one of the OGs in BMX and action sports, Mongoose is responsible for bringing this genre to a global audience. The brand has released some of the most influential BMX bikes in the industry from the Mongoose Motomag (70s) and Supergoose (80s), to the Fuzz (90s) and Title series (Present). The brand has also sponsored a who's who of BMX racers since the late 70s including Jeff "Koz" Kosmala, Eric "Big Daddy" Rupe, Tim "Fuzzy" Hall, Craig Reynolds, and current factory rider Payton "P-Nut" Ridenour.

1985

Take it to the trail

In 1985, Mongoose took the industry by storm with its first full-size, multi-speed mountain bike, the Mongoose ATB (All-Terrain Bicycle). After the years of hardtail innovation, the brand launched its first full suspension bike – the Amplifier – which became one of the most successful mountain bikes of all time. Over the years, Mongoose mountain bikes such as the IBOC, Nugget, and Boot'r have been put to the test by some of the world's most talented riders, including John Tomac, Brian Lopes, Chris Akrigg, and Brayden Barrett-Hay.

dedication to freestyle

In 1986, Mongoose launched the FS-1. Ever since, freestyle BMX has been central to the brand’s product collection. Mongoose has worked with legendary freestyle riders, including Dennis McCoy, Fuzzy Hall, Simon Tabron, 10x X Games Gold Medalist Kevin Peraza, and the late-great Pat Casey, who inspire product design and fans alike. From classics like the Decade and the Hooligan to the contemporary Fraction and Legion, freestyle is entrenched in Mongoose BMX DNA.
