Mongoose Race Team Visits South Carolina Middle School

Kevin Garczynski

The Mongoose BMX race team is known for their skills on the track, but they don’t stop inspiring people there!  On Thursday, Mason Hayes, Payton Ridenour and Cam Wood visited Fort Mill Middle School in South Carolina with the USA BMX Foundation to speak with the young students about what it's like to be a sponsored student/athlete, and more importantly, a great role model!

We're so proud of the work these riders are doing to encourage young people to become lifelong cyclist through the USA BMX Foundation's STEM education programs. For more info on the USA BMX Foundation / Mongoose partnership, visit our Community Outreach page.

“The Mongoose Team [Mason, Cam, Payton and Marc Hayes] did an excellent job with our STEM BMX assembly,” said Fort Hill social studies teacher Scott Brooks. “The students and staff loved it!  Thanks to the team for the memorable experience for students and staff.”

Enjoy some photos of Payton, Cam and Mason from their visit to Fort Hill!
