Today is National Pi (π) Day – 3.14 – and to honor mathematics' most famous number, Mongoose would like to recognize the amazing work of our valued partner the USA BMX Foundation. As the nonprofit arm of USA BMX, the Foundation's programs focus on STE(A)M education through hands-on, project-based learning concepts, in which young students are learning new ways of seeing science, technology, engineering, and math all through the lens of a BMX bike.
Mongoose has been fortunate to partner with the USA BMX Foundation and their groundbreaking programs since 2019. The two brands also co-sponsor a world-class BMX race team of Cam Wood, Payton Ridenour, Mason Hayes and Brooke Crain.
Our race team will be in Rock Hill, SC, later this month visiting schools and getting kids stoked on STEM and BMX. Visit the USA BMX Foundation website to learn how to get a program setup in your school district.
