The USA BMX Freestyle Tulsa stop is a wrap! It was a great weekend for BMX fun starting with the Mongoose Am Jam that happened on Friday after park practice to prep for the Saturday contest. Matty Cranmer was the host for BMX festivities, and he delivered one amazing Jam with his energy and love of the sport!
We started with the younger riders doing some trains with Matty as the conductor, which led into a long jump contest, followed by a good ol' game of Foot-down!
After that the older riders brought some heat with a heavy session on the rail section. We saw so many incredible moves being thrown down you would think it was a hard trick contest – like Michael Allen’s up-rail to manual to abubaca, and Aryei Levenson doing too many tricks out of the rail and ledges you would think he was on a box jump.
The final Jam of the evening was in the bowl and more BMX madness ensued starting with Matty sitting on the edge of the bowl challenging riders to air over him, which a few excepted and pulled flawlessly. Two highlights involved 360’s; The first from Davin Hallford, who did a huge 360 transfer from the bowl into the street section! And Mr. Logan Wallace finished off the Jam doing a 360 drop into the bowl waterfall! It was insane!
The vibe of the Am Jam Tulsa stop was a heartfelt stoke of BMX! Thank you to everyone who came out and we can’t wait for the next one!
