Cam Wood Re-Ups with Mongoose After a Milestone Season

Drew Kries

We’re stoked to announce that BMX race pro Cam Wood is back with Mongoose for another year, and after a landmark season, “The Cowboy” is ready to chase even bigger moments in 2026.

Cam’s year was defined by consistent top-level performances across multiple series: snagging four wins and 14 podiums at USA BMX races, earning his first USA Cycling Elite National title, and securing a third-place overall finish in the UCI World Cup standings. The season was capped at USA BMX Grand Nationals, where Cam claimed his second-straight Elite Men’s title, and marking the 50th time he’s stood on the USA BMX podium in his career.

Winning back-to-back titles at Grands is no small feat. Add in a season packed with so many other podiums and big finals, and it really shows the dedication it takes to stay competitive year after year. In 2024, Cam shared insight into his mindset and training approach in our World Class documentary as he prepared to represent the USA on the world stage in Paris. Fans got another peek behind the scenes with Cam at Grands this year, where Matty Cranmer and the Mongoose crew were in Tulsa to capture all of the excitement of the weekend.

Cam has proven he can deliver across the top levels of BMX racing, and that’s a big part of why we’re excited to continue our partnership with him. His impressive race résumé reflects not just talent, but a relentless commitment to progression that aligns with Mongoose’s roots in BMX and dedication to developing riders. As we look ahead to the first gate drops of the 2026 season, we can’t wait to see what’s next for Cam Wood!
