BMX legend Simon Tabron needs our help. Several weeks ago, Simon suffered a cardiac arrest and, days later, a stroke.
The BMX community has banded together in support of the Tabron family thanks to the leadership of Simon’s dear friend Chad Kagy, who set up a Go Fund Me page to raise money for his medical expenses.
Simon was a staple of the BMX family for many years, so when Mongoose heard the news we immediately started thinking of ways to help. Ultimately, we came up with a few items to help raise money for the Tabron family — Both of which are currently being auctioned off through Albe's BMX: Help Simon Tabron Auctions page.
- Simon’s signature 2008 Mongoose Shield frame. This one-of-a-kind, replica frame is a made-in-America, full 4130 Chromoly with custom paint job and replica Shield decals featuring '#SimonStrong'
- Mongoose will also auction off a 2020 Mongoose Legion L500 full Chromoly complete BMX bike
Participants can bid on either or both of these Mongoose items on the Albe's BMX Help Simon Tabron Auctions page starting Monday, Nov. 2nd. Bidding on these items will end on Friday, Nov 13th. Please bid, and bid BIG on these items, with all proceeds going to Simon and his family. Even if you don’t have the winning bids, please give what you can to the Simon Tabron Go Fund Me page as every dollar helps. Our sincerest thanks.
