With 200 mm of front and rear travel on a rocker link frame, the Boot'r is right at home floating huge airs and drops or pushing through the most technical downhill terrain as fast as possible. Taking feedback from our athletes, such as Greg Watts, we've narrowed the linkage slightly and shortened the chainstays for a more maneuverable, responsive ride.

Geometry & Sizing

Free
Floating
Technology
Free Floating Technology suspension allows the rear shock to float with the rocker link and the rear triangle. Traditional
shock mounts are hard mounted, meaning the rear shock engages when the rocker link is activated. With the FFT suspension system both the chain stays and rocker link engage the shock and move fluidly. This allows Mongoose to fine-tune the suspension to offer a supple and progressive feel for the rider.

Internal
Cable
Routing
Our internal cable routing system feeds cables through the bike frame keeping them protected from stray branches along the trail and any other bumps or snags the bike could come into contact with along the way. Inserts plug openings in the frame to keep water and debris out while firmly holding cables in place.

Refined
Geometry
We’ve extended the top tubes and decreased the length of our stems on our trail and all-mountain models
positioning the rider perfectly in relation to the wheelbase for the most balanced riding position possible. Shorter stems allow
the effective reach to remain the same when combined with the lengthened top tube, all while providing more responsive steering.

T2 Tectonic Aluminum
Aviation technology in a bicycle frame. With a 50% increase in strength and 30% decrease in weight when compared to our T1 aluminum, Tectonic T2 aluminum brings aircraft quality to your ride without compromising on overall frame stiffness.
