How did you find BMX? How old were you?
I found BMX in I think 8th grade, my neighbor owned a bike shop and he took us to the race track. Then the next weekend I wanted to go again but it was closed so I went to the skate park and never again went to another race track.

What do you love most about BMX?
Hanging out with all the other people that ride.

What do you like least about BMX?
All the haters in it, if you don’t ride the same as them you’re not cool and a disgrace to BMX according to them.

Best place BMX has taken you?
Right now probably Woodward PA. In a month or so ill be going to Salt Lake City, that should be really interesting.

Worst place BMX has taken you?
An operating room having my foot rebroken in 4 places, and then a couch for several weeks after that.

If you could only ride at one place forever, where would it be?
Tricky, I’d have to say Lot 8 at Camp Woodward or my home park of Paradise Funplex.

What riders have influenced you the most?
Mostly the people I ride with all the time, especially Dave Brumlow for getting me into riding vert.

What are your interests outside of riding?
My car, music, photography, and recently school.

Who were your heroes as a kid?
Mat Hoffman of course.

Who are your heroes now?
Jamie Bestwick, he can kill any ramp and contest he touches.

If you could ride with anyone who would it be?
I’m going to go with what I said above and say Jamie Bestwick.

If you were stuck on a desert island what three things would you bring with you??
A box Jump, a vert ramp, oh and my bike

If you weren’t a BMX pro, what other profession would you be involved in?
I’d probably be dumping every cent into my car.

What is your favorite music/band/artist?
Tough one, I’m going say Brand New being that whenever there within a 100 mile radius I have to see them.

What is your favorite color?
Blue has grown on me since both my bike and car are blue.

What is your favorite food?
I have only had it once but white pizza topped with tomatoes and clam was rather delicious.

What is the last thing you spend more than $100 on?
In all honesty …… another iPhone.

When was the last time you were seriously scared?
Last week I witnessed a fight and someone yelled “that dude has a gun”. I have never gone from laughing so hard to scared that quick.

What was your first bike set up and how has it changed?
It was a yellow Haro Revo with front brakes and four flatland pegs. Now it’s a Mongoose Fraction with back brakes and two pegs (just started pegs again for the first time since that bike)

Describe your perfect day.
Perfect day would have to be wake up around 9:30 sit around surfing the web for about an hour. Have lunch with the family then around 2:00 go to the park where its 70-73 degrees not a cloud in the sky with all my friends there. Then at night go out to eat with some friends then maybe see a movie or something.

What is one thing that people might not know about you?
I really enjoy underground hip-hop

What was your most embarrassing moment?
I fell on a blank air, my gyro cable and my belt broke, and then my pants fell down at last years BACO in my first run and then I was late for my second run because I couldn’t find a belt. All the while Catfish is on the mic making fun of me, it was all a good laugh.

If you won $500 million dollars today – what would you do with it?
First off I would pay off all my bills, buy a sweet house on the river, get some ballin’ cars, build an huge indoor skate park, donate to several charities I support the causes of, travel the world, and set up a college scholarship for someone who rides because I have never been able to find anything like that.

One place you have to see before you die.
Australia and New Zealand, those two places have always fascinated me.

Best advice you’ve ever been given.
Not to give into peer pressure, it’s made me who I am today.

What’s one thing you could change about your life if you could?
It would be the school I’m at, something a little further from home.

If you could back into time and do one thing over – what would it be?
I would be afraid to go back and change anything because I believe everything happens for a reason, but all that aside I’d probably go back and not break my foot.

If you could spend an afternoon with anyone – past, present or future – who would it be?
Probably me in 20 years, I’m very curious as to what that will be like.

Peanut or Regular M&M’s?
BELIEVE ME!!!!! This is the hardest question so far…I have no answer lol.

Favorite Movie?
Any movie made by Stanley Kubrick

What’s one thing you always take with you when you travel?
My trusty old G4 powerbook
