Mud Slinging with Mongoose Tribe

Mongoose Tribe member Shawn Metcalf plays in the mud at 7Springs.
7Springs went pretty good. Since the course was not so rough I decided to race the Nugget on the Downhill race. I honestly was up in the air on which one I wanted to race, but thought "what the heck, what's the worst that can happen". And, besides, it was getting a lot of attention. It was a little rough through the rock garden, but overall it was a super fun and fast bike to ride there. I ended up in 6th place.
Snowshoe was a WHOLE different animal. It was sooooo muddy there. Even though I prefer riding when it is dry, I had an absolute blast! I had a small crash in my race run, which led to a small drive train issue, but quickly recovered. I ended up 3rd. So, pretty good finish, as always, I need to improve.
My next race is at Snowshoe July 25-26. Looking forward to it.
