The Mongoose Tribe was founded by Eric Carter in 2006. The idea was to form a group of riders i.e. "Tribe Members" that love to ride, hang out together and have a good time.  EC has since passed his legacy to the next generation of Tribe chiefs located throughout the US. 

Riders are chosen through Loopd.com. A rider submits a resume to the Mongoose account, and it is approved based on their riding resume. By joining the Tribe, members get a smoking hot deal on a bike, Tribe apparel, invites to Tribefests, and riding buddies among other things.
